Founded by partners Sylvester Sergeant and Gift Adeboyeku in August 2020, Slate Enterprises was created as a response to the lack of community growth, resources, and overall connection, most often in "at risk" or urban communities. So often are individuals and even other businesses unaware of the resources and people around them. Noticing this deficit of connection to people and resources in comparison to other cultural counterparts, the pair began their journey to fill that void.

 

Slate stands to provide networking opportunities, business formation/start up services, and  information/access to communities in need from a plethora of industries. With developments like networking events, information panels, and even resource directories, we hope to become the leading name in business services both locally and abroad.

 

We are firm believers in the idea that connections build communities and yield creation. It is our driving force as we hope to connect people, connect ideas, and connect resources.
